Policies are underwritten by carriers
Pet insurance policies offered through Pawllicy are underwritten by one or more licensed insurance companies. Pawllicy does not underwrite policies, bear risk, or pay claims; all coverage decisions and claim payments are made by the insurer under the terms of your policy.

How reimbursement is determined

Wellness & telehealth are not insurance
Wellness, preventive-care, and telehealth benefits are not insurance and are provided separately from any insurance policy. They do not cover, and are not a substitute for, veterinary treatment or an insurance policy.
About the telehealth member discount
The telehealth member discount is a premium rating factor built into the insurer's filed and approved pricing and is available only where filed and approved and to eligible members who meet the stated conditions. It is not a rebate, gift, or cash-back offer, is not available in all states or on all plans, and is subject to change. Eligibility and the amount of any discount are determined by the insurer.
